Partition Types

There is no central clearing house to assign the codes used in the one byte "Partition Type" field. But codes are assigned (or used) to define most every type of filesystem that anyone has ever implemented on the 80x86 PC. Here is a list of some (not all) known used codes to date:
If anyone knows any more codes please let me know and I will update this document.
